Simon Kilonback to become
Chief Executive Officer at SGN
SGN has announced that Simon Kilonback
will become its new Chief Executive Officer.
Simon, who joined the energy network
business in September 2023 as Chief Financial Officer, will take
over from Mark Wild who is leaving to run the high-speed rail
project HS2.
Simon is a highly respected leader
with extensive experience in safety orientated companies which are
part of critical national infrastructure. He was previously the CFO
of Transport for London for five years.
He has a strong track record in the
public and private sectors of steering complex businesses through
challenging periods and delivering successful outcomes.

Simon is expected to take up the role
of CEO later in the calendar year. The search for SGN's next CFO is
already underway.
