Medical Media Television, Inc. ("Medical Media") (OTCBB:MMTV), a provider of advertiser-supported patient/parent/client medical education programming within the place-based media environment of medical specialty offices, announced today that Elaine K. Mann has been named as President of its new pediatric network, KidCARE Medical Television Network, Inc. ("KidCARE TV"). Mann's professional management background began at the administrative level with Carondolet Health/Kansas City, Missouri, a member of Ascension Health, the nation's largest non-profit health care system. From there, Mann joined Philip Cohen at Philip Cohen & Associates, Inc. as Director of Corporate Communications where she oversaw all communications for this media corporation that was directly involved in veterinary/medical video, television, and film. Prior to joining KidCARE TV, Mann served as President of WordSmiths, International, a health care information organization specializing in business-to-business communications and business-to-market fulfillment. When asked about her new position with KidCARE TV, Mann said she is pleased to be joining the team at Medical Media and stated, "Consumers today are more aware than ever of health care and especially the importance of pinpointing health concerns at an early age. By providing parents with the most current and relevant information on issues that they should address with their pediatrician during their child's appointment, KidCARE TV will help ensure parents that their child receives a thorough physical evaluation along with providing them with the most up-to-date treatments for those conditions." Philip Cohen, CEO of Medical Media and a frequent speaker at place-based media industry meetings commented, "Successfully recruiting Elaine to spearhead the KidCARE TV launch is a home run for us. Companies like ours have a certain responsibility when producing programming for captive audience networks in that we have to make every effort to provide a serious educational product in an entertaining manner. Elaine's background and industry experience makes her a perfect philosophical fit. I almost feel sorry for our colleagues who have to compete with her." Mann will be working out of the Tampa, Florida headquarters of Medical Media. She resides in Dunedin, Florida where she is a member of Rotary International and a Phi Beta Kappa. Mann holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and a Masters of Fine Arts/Communications Studies from the University of Missouri/Kansas City. Medical Media plans to launch KidCARE TV in late 2006 providing programming to its initial 1,000 subscribers by January 2007. KidCARE TV will target the 60,000 pediatricians who belong to the American Academy of Pediatrics. Programming will create awareness of preventative health measures along with educating parents on specific childhood issues and diseases they may wish to discuss with their pediatrician in order to build healthier children. Medical Media has three networks: PetCARE Television Network, Inc. ("PetCARE TV") directed by its President, Bernard J. Kouma, African American Medical Network, Inc.
