Word is they are buying HOSed and will be putting a good HOSing to the TDW shareholders. The new combined WATERHOSe company should be decently profitable once the turnaround takes place. Short TDW until the dust settles. Money to be made here.

I think HOSed, even at 37 cents is so bad, but for maybe of their top 12-15 boats, the rest of the fleet going to the scrap yards. The parked fleet, representing the greater majority of their fleet, has in reality, already achieved junk or scrap status due to little or no maintenance.

Would be neat to have a company called WATERHOSe, but Todd is too toxic for Tidewater. Hopefully Tidewater sustains this dead period and comes back as the proud company I recall growing up.

Growing up, I remember when Tidewater was a respectable company Tidewater then raped the bondholders, raped the shareholders in the RV/bankruptcy. Revalued their paper at $25/share. Did the Gulfmark deal and look where we are today.

Bad bad future. I predict another trip to the 6th and 7th floors of 501 Magazine street if they file in the EDLA.

Think of the damage Todd Hornbeck could do to Tidewater in just a matter of days.

The combined HOSedwater fleet be doomed !

Tidewater's first financial report after emerging from bankruptcy contained no real surprises, revenues continue to decrease as vessels roll off lucrative legacy contracts, either adding to an already heavily oversupplied spot market or getting stacked right away. While EBITDA was still slightly positive, operating activities consumed roughly $18 million in cash.

Exactly like I predicted in March the pos scam finally filed the CH11 yesterday! Total 492,230 shares dumped at $0.4101 ~ $0.7124 from 8.00AM to 9:30AM and also hundreds of thousands of shares dumped at as low as $0.4000 before 8:00AM. We should see the Penny Land very soon...

Tidewater in pre-packaged bankruptcy deal; shares -20%

The company has inked a Restructuring Support Agreement with certain of its lenders, and expects to file for chapter 11 by next Wednesday.

Tidewater (NYSE:TDW) continues to negotiate with the NYSE about keeping its listing through the restructuring process.

Under the deal, existing common stockholders will be wiped out, and receive common stock in the reorganized Tidewater representing 5% of the company, along with two sets of warrants.

Shares -19.75% premarket to $0.712.

Tidewater +11% as it stops seeking more waiver extensions
Tidewater (TDW +11%) posts strong gains after saying it will not seek renewal of limited waivers from its lenders and noteholders following yesterday's expiration of the latest one.
TDW has been in talks since last year with its principal lenders and noteholders to amend its various debt arrangements to obtain relief from certain covenants.
TDW CEO Jeffrey Platt says work remains to resolve "a small number of issues" and to obtain board approval as well as final approval from the various financial institutions.

As much as needed to figure out a solution.
This is a good sign. Lenders and noteholder are aware bancrupcy will only benefit tidewater and not them. Abd they don't see them not able to pay back the depts. Otherwise they would not negotiate.

To bad I bought in at $1.30
But yeah. No good news = easy to bring down


We have to ask our self if the whole offshore industry will go down. I doubt that
