    DATE OF BOARD MEETING

    The board of directors (the "Board") of VTech Holdings Limited (the "Company") hereby announces that a meeting of the Board of the
Company will be held on Thursday, 3rd July 2008 for the purpose of, among other matters, approving the announcement of the final results for
the year ended 31st March 2008 and considering the recommendation on the payment of a final dividend.

    As at the date of this announcement, the Executive Directors of the Company are Mr. Allan WONG Chi Yun (Chairman and Group Chief
Executive Officer), Mr. Edwin YING Lin Kwan and Mr. PANG King Fai. The Independent Non-executive Directors are Mr. Raymond CH'IEN Kuo Fung,
Mr. William FUNG Kwok Lun, Mr. Michael TIEN Puk Sun and Mr. Patrick WANG Shui Chung.
