                          Reminder as to Offer Deadline 
 
The directors of the Company confirm today that the deadline for shareholders to 
respond to the Offer made by Deepdale PNE Holdings Limited for the ordinary 
shares of Preston North End (the "Offer") ends at 1pm on Wednesday 7th July 
2010. As a consequence, shareholders have just one week to reply before the 
initial offer period ends. 
 
The details of the Offer were announced to the market on 4 June 2010 and 16 June 
2010 and are more particularly summarized in the Offer Document dispatched to 
shareholders on 16 June 2010 and posted on the Company's website: 
www.pnefc.net/page/companydetails. 
 
In accordance with Rule 31.4 of the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers, Deepdale 
PNE Holdings Limited does not currently intend to keep the Offer open for 
acceptances following this initial closing date.  It does, however, reserve the 
right to extend the period during which the offer remains open for acceptance. 
 
All shareholders should by now have received the Offer document together with 
instructions as to how to complete the appropriate forms; and a return envelope. 
 Shareholders who wish to accept the Offer, and have not yet done so are urged 
to do so as soon as possible. The procedure for acceptance is set out in 
paragraph 13 of Part III of the offer document.
