           COMPLETION OF BALL PLASTICS PACKAGING AMERICAS ACQUISITION 
 
Amcor recently announced that it had reached an agreement to purchase assets of 
Ball Plastics Packaging Americas from Ball Corporation.  The transaction was 
subject to regulatory approval in the USA.  The business has five plants in 
North America and sales of approximately US$600 million. 
 
Amcor has now closed the acquisition of Ball Plastics Packaging Americas 
following the termination of the Hart-Scott Rodino waiting period in the US.
