                      BEA-TRADING ANNOUNCEMENT OWN SHARES


The Bergesen d.y. Group has today bought 42,400 of its own shares, being 32,400
A-shares and 10,000 B-shares for NOK 169.00 and NOK 150.00 per share
respectively.

After this purchase The Bergesen d.y. Group owns totally 633,600 of its own
shares, being 543,950 A-shares and 89,650 B-shares.

Excluding own shares the number of outstanding shares is 59,061,456.
