Big Screen Entertainment Group, Inc. (OTC:BSEG) has announced the following concerning its films in development and recent distribution deals: Financial negotiations are underway with a Dubai-based investment group for the film "Standing Down," starring Ron Perlman and Pras Michel, with Marshall Tyler slated to direct. Perlman starred in the successful blockbuster "Hellboy 2" (worldwide gross $140,000,000) this past summer, and currently stars in the critically acclaimed FX television series, "Sons of Anarchy." He is also executive producing "Standing Down." "Standing Down" will be shot in Michigan, where competitive state tax incentives will give the investment group a rebate the following year, equal to 40% of the total investment. Pre-production is slated for March 2009. Financial talks are also underway for the comedy "Shiva Club," to be directed by William Shatner. Michael Gardiner, BSEG's VP of Business Affairs, is spearheading the negotiations with a Southern California investment group. A Michigan based investment group, Rochester Financial, is currently in talks with numerous investors regarding the family film franchise "Code Ninja," to be shot in Michigan next year, along with "Standing Down." Big Screen has finalized a New Media deal with English company Ifilm, who will be making all BSEG online media available directly to broadcasters around the world. The site will be up and running with BSEG's content very soon. Ifilm will be selling IPTV rights (Internet Protocol TV rights) directly to broadcasters, thereby eliminating so-called "middle-men" buyers. Big Screen currently has two online download sites being created for its film content to be distributed directly to consumers, in addition to the aforementioned broadcaster to broadcaster format. The sites are expected to go live over the next few months. Finally, BSEG is preparing for The American Film Market, to be held November 5th to 12th in Santa Monica, California, where it will be selling over 20 films to international buyers. BSEG is in final negotiations to sell an additional 50 films, along with its partners from England, for a total of 70 films for its AFM catalogue. BSEG will be having a party for buyers at the American Film Market, sponsored by Patron and Five Star Pictures. More news on acquired new film projects and the anticipated theatrical release of BSEG's critically acclaimed film "Babysitter Wanted" will be announced soon. About BSEG: Big Screen Entertainment Group (BSEG) is a full service entertainment company designed to develop, produce, purchase, exhibit and distribute products in all media formats, including motion pictures, television, music, publishing, video games and cell phone content.
