Changes to the Board of Hampton Trust
Hampton Trust PLC announces the retirement of non-executive Director, Tom Wilson
and the subsequent appointment of Richard Wright, as a non-executive Director,
to the Board of the Company.
Richard Alan Wright, aged 58 years, was employed for 28 years at Norwich Union
during which time he was responsible for the development of the Exchange at
Ilford, Bentalls Shopping Centre, the Galleries at Bristol, Maylord Orchards at
Hereford and other significant town centre schemes. Additionally he was
responsible for the management of the entirety of their retail portfolio.
In 1993 he joined the then Jones Lang Wooton as a Partner and built up the
retail asset management portfolio from 16 schemes to 63 over a period of 9
years, which included the outsourcing of MEPC and Morley. He is a past President
of the British Council for Shopping Centres (BCSC) and was a Board member for 12
years.
The appointments are effective as of today's date.
