--BT Group's consumer brand EE has excluded Huawei Technologies Co. phones from its 5G launch next week, reversing previous plans to offer handsets made by the Chinese giant, the Financial Times reports.

--EE, the largest carrier in the U.K., said it has paused the launch of Huawei's 5G phones after Google said it would halt some services for Huawei smartphones, according to the FT.

--Neither EE nor BT Group immediately responded to requests for comment.
