AGNC divi day was today. Put it right back into new shares. Interest rates are rising.

I was looking at some early tax info a couple of weeks back and when I check now it shows a number of months worth of AGNC dividends now listed as non-dividend distributions. They are return of capital I guess. Anyone have more info on this? I guess it is not reported on the 1040?

In my up coming posts I will explain just how AGNC lost $400 million last 10Q net equity, and how agnc lost that much on MBS mortgages! what? that's right their core business. I day short them in small channels. As that is the avg. spread per day. It's quite interesting.

Well I bought it at $9.01 during the scamdemic and it seems to be a pretty solid investment for me.

Dividend reinvest. Can't go wrong with holding AGNC.

You didn't tell us whether you told your family members about AGNC's long history of dividend cuts, and its debt.

AGNC isn't much of an investment for a multitude of reasons.

AGNC is performing quite well with the unwelcoming circumstances. All of them lowered the dividend. It's not just AGNC. NLY CIM. The dividends are still great. Dividend reinvest is what I am doing with AGNC.

Markets change and dividends do too but I'm confident that this stock will do well.

Ah, you were referring to the day's bottom. That's easy enough to know. But knowing many other things about mREITs is almost impossible. AGNC is leveraged around 8 times so the numbers can be obsolete by the time the public sees them. There are many risks with mREITs.

If you research back to the The Great Recession around 2008-2010 and before you'll see that this category's had some very rough spells. mREITs are complex investments. Read all the risk factors in the filings. The lawyers/CPAs aren't kidding around.

LOL! It is absurd to assume someone knew the bottom of any dropping stock price before hand. Look at a chart of the price after the dip and you will see it dipped and there was a bottom. But that wasn't really the purpose of your post was it?

You know what? They are more than covering their dividend. Besides which- if I were to sell my AGNC position today- the profits are such that I could travel anywhere I wanted for a year in good style, with the capital reinvested to provide more dividends. That's what it's all about- making money.

I am just done with your never-ending bashing of any stock not owned by your hero Buffett. I should have put you on ignore long ago.
