OXFORD, England, July 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
Elsevier, world-leading provider of scientific, technical and
medical information products and services, is pleased to announce
the launch of a new open access journal: Bone Reports.
As sister publication to the highly reputable journal
Bone, Bone Reports will serve as an interdisciplinary
forum for the rapid publication of research articles and case
reports across basic, translational and clinical aspects of bone
and mineral metabolism. The journal welcomes studies replicating or
failing to replicate previous studies.
Editor-in-Chief for Bone Reports, Professor Peter R. Ebeling, Monash University, and also
Senior Editor for sister journal Bone, commented, "I am
excited to serve as Editor-in-Chief of Bone Reports, which
fulfills a critical and current need to enhance research by
publishing reproducibility studies and null findings."
"I am delighted to partner with Professor Ebeling," said
Editor-in-Chief of Bone, Professor Sundeep Khosla, Mayo Clinic, explaining that,
"with the launch of Bone Reports authors now have a new
option to publish solid science related to bone metabolism. I
believe the two journals will complement each other very well and
expand the scope of content we can provide to our readers."
