CANCELLATION OF LISTING OF SHARES

Eli Lilly and Company hereby announces that the listing of all of its shares of common stock, no par value, on the Official List and the admission of its shares to trading on the London Stock Exchange have been cancelled with immediate effect. Eli Lilly and Company's common stock began trading on NYSE Euronext Paris on March 25, 2013.
