Appointment of an Alternate Director to Mr. Chew Sing Guan

Hidong Estate PLC ("Hidong" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Jamieson Chew Yen Loong as an alternate director to Chew Sing Guan with effect from 2 March 2023.

Jamieson Chew Yen Loong, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts-Economics from McGill University, Montreal, Quebec in year 2006. He started off his career as an Associate Consultant with The Roberts Group from 2006 to 2009 managing the market data inventory planning and forecasting for a number of banks and hedge funds including JP Morgan's and SAC Capital Advisors.

He furthered his studies majoring in Corporate Finance (Business Strategy and Financial Valuation) and graduated with a Masters of Business Administration from Georgetown University, Washington, DC, McDonough School of Business in 2011.

After graduation, he joined Prudential Services Asia as a Principal Auditor, Group-wide Internal Audit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, conducting internal audits on multiple business functions in businesses across Asia. He joined Prudential Corporation Asia in Hong Kong in 2014 and served as a Senior Regional Manager, Strategic Solutions till 2021. There, in Prudential's Asia head office, his team oversaw regional strategy for a portfolio of 10 local business units, formulating financial and operational targets, directed marketing and product design, and evaluated annual performance and reward.

From 2021 to present-day, he has been appointed as the Director of Strategic Planning and Communications in Mercury Securities Sdn. Bhd. and is responsible in development of corporate initiatives and projects, including project planning, management and delivery and driving growth through multiple channels including offline face-to-face distribution, online platforms and partnerships.
