Purchase of own securities

The Board of the Company announces that it has today made a market purchase of
950,000 geared ordinary shares of one penny each in the capital of the Company
(SEDOL No.02131547), representing 0.904% of the current issued geared ordinary
share capital of the Company, for cancellation at a price of 30.0 pence per
geared ordinary share.



Following cancellation, 104,095,033 geared ordinary shares in the Company will
remain in issue.
