Sonus and Intrado Support Growing Demand for Enhanced Emergency Services with VoIP Users CHELMSFORD, Mass., Jan. 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Sonus Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ:SONS), a leading supplier of service provider voice over IP (VoIP) infrastructure solutions, announced today that Intrado Inc., (NASDAQ:TRDO), a global provider of integrated data and telecommunications solutions, has tapped Sonus to provide key elements of its IMS-ready architecture to support Intrado's nationwide expansion of its VoIP E9-1-1 solution, V9-1-1(R) Services. Intrado is leveraging Sonus' industry-leading network architecture to deliver VoIP E9-1-1 service to public safety answering points. Building on the success of Intrado's initial deployments in major markets like New York City that utilize Sonus technology, Intrado will be expanding the Sonus footprint in its nationwide network rollout.
