Item 8.01 Other Events
On
August 10, 2020 American Resources Corporation (or the
“Company”) received a letter from the Nasdaq Stock
Market stating that the Company has regained compliance under
Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(b)(2) . On June 3, 2020 the Company was
notified by Nasdaq that it had failed to maintain a minimum of
$2,500,000 in stockholders’ equity for continued listing as
required by The Nasdaq Capital Market set forth in Listing Rule
5550(b)(1). Since then, Nasdaq has determined that the Company has
met the alternative requirement having market value of listed
securities of at least $35 million for at least ten consecutive
days as set forth in Listing Rule 5550(b)(2). As such, this matter
is now closed.
