Smithson Investment Trust plc announces that on 2 October 2024, it purchased for holding in treasury 111,638 ordinary shares of 1p each at a price of 1,435.64 pence per share.

Following this transaction, the Company has 40,199,492 ordinary shares held in treasury and 136,908,466 ordinary shares in circulation. The total number of ordinary shares in issue is 177,107,958.
