                         emondo.com plc ("the Company")



Completion of the Company's fund raising referred to in a previous
announcement is at an advanced stage. In view of the significance of this post
balance sheet event the finalisation of the accounts for the period ended 31st
December, 2000 has had to be delayed and as a consequence the accounts have
not been sent to shareholders by 30th June, 2001 as required under the AIM
Rules. The Company has requested, therefore, that trading in its Ordinary
Shares be suspended with effect from 7.00 a.m. on 2nd July, 2001 pending the
publication of its accounts.
