    ANZON ENERGY LIMITED ANNOUNCES THAT ITS SUBSIDIARY
    ANZON AUSTRALIA LIMITED (ASX CODE:AZA) HAS TODAY MADE
    THE FOLLOWING ASX ANNOUNCEMENT

    BOARD CHANGES

    Anzon Australia Limited (ASX: AZA) (Anzon Australia) wishes to announce the appointment of two new directors to the Anzon Australia
Board. The two new directors, Mr Bruce F W Clement and Mr William G Jephcott, are the nominees of Roc Oil Company Limited (ROC).
    Mr Clement is an Executive Director and the Acting Chief Executive Officer of ROC, which now holds a controlling stake in Anzon
Australia. Mr Clement joined ROC in 1997 and held the positions of Commercial Manager, Company Secretary, and Chief Financial Officer before
being appointed Chief Operating Officer (2003). Mr Clement has over 28 years oil and gas industry experience, including banking sector
exposure, having held engineering and project management, commercial and supervisory roles with Exxon Corporation and Ampolex, before
joining AIDC Limited (Australian Resource Bank). He holds a Bachelor of Engineering and Science (Hons) from University of Sydney and a
Master of Business Administration from Macquarie University.
    Mr Jephcott is Deputy Chairman and a Non-Executive Director of ROC, and is an investment banker who specialises in merger and
acquisition advice.  Mr Jephcott also has experience in the financing and structuring of major resource projects, including those in the oil
and gas industry.  Since July 2006 Mr Jephcott has been Special Advisor to Gresham Partners Limited.  He is also a director of New South
Wales Rugby Limited.   
    The Anzon Australia Directors welcome both Mr Clement and Mr Jephcott to the Anzon Australia Board.
    To maintain the current number of Directors on the Anzon Australia Board, Anzon Australia's Chairman, Mr Steven Joseph Koroknay, and Mr
Michael Arnett, one of Anzon Australia's Non Executive Directors, have today resigned from their positions on the Anzon Australia Board with
immediate effect.
    Mr Koroknay was a founding Director of Anzon Australia and served as Chairman of the Anzon Australia Board from Anzon Australia's
inception. Mr Koroknay was also CEO of Anzon Australia from inception until 31 October 2007.
    Mr Arnett was also a founding Director of Anzon Australia.  
    The Anzon Australia Directors thank Messrs Koroknay and Arnett for their dedication to Anzon Australia and for their invaluable
contribution to Anzon Australia's growth.
