ROBOTIC TECHNOLOGY SYSTEMS PLC ("the Company")

By a notice dated 24th November 1999, the Company has been notified by Taube
Hodson Stonex Partners Limited that as a result of a series of transactions
between 15th and 22nd November 1999, totalling 721,000 ordinary shares of 1p
each, the holdings of clients in respect of which it acts as discretionary
managers have fallen below 5 per cent of the issued share capital of the
Company and that the said clients now have an aggregate holding of 1,976,151
ordinary shares of 1p each in the capital of the Company.

Based on the issued share capital as at the date of the notice, 24th November
1999, the aggregate holding represents 4.80 per cent. of the shares in issue.

The said shares are held as follows:

International Growth & Value Fund
(formerly Value Realisation Trust plc)                253,151

St James's Place UK & General Unit Trust            1,723,000
