LIVERPOOL, N.Y., April 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Highlight
Networks Inc. (OTCBB Symbol: HNET) is pleased to announce the
opening of its electronics recycling facility in East Syracuse, New York. The 12,000 square
foot operation is located in a modern industrial park and is
situated on over an acre of land with room to expand. The Company
is currently offering free recycling of electronics, computers,
cell phones, servers, and other items, for local businesses and
residents during normal business hours 9 to 5 Monday through
Saturday. For convenience HNET also offers a 24 hr drop off
container located at the front of the facility at 6 Adler Drive,
East Syracuse, NY 13057.
The Company strives to keep electronics, metals, and recyclable
goods out of landfills. We accept everything from single cell
phones to entire truckloads of working and nonworking products.
Items are then repurposed, reused, or recycled in accordance with
the regulations set by the United States Environmental Protection
Agency and by the various state departments of environmental
regulation, and their guidelines. Individuals interested in
recycling with Highlight Networks may also call 1-855-687-HNET
(4638). We offer a free pick-up service to local clients, and can
help arrange shipping on a national basis.
HNET CEO, Alfonso Knoll stated,
"We are pleased to have this first facility operational, and plan
to expand to other locations quickly. We are part of a solution to
a very real environmental problem. It is estimated that Americans
throw out more than 350,000 cell phones and 130,000 computers every
day. Nationally only 16% of electronic waste is recycled. Globally,
current estimates report that the worldwide number of PCs will be 2
billion by 2014. There is no reason for this material to wind up in
landfills when it can be profitably reused or recycled."
Highlight Networks Inc. headquartered in New York, engages in recycling, refining,
metals trading, and asset recovery, with a focus on precious metals
refining from electronic waste. The Company currently operates one
facility in NY that contracts nationally for refining and recycling
projects. The Company has recently expanded its business to include
the repurposing, resale, and recycling of networking and telecom
hardware.
