BRS Announces 3M Deal

Ballistic Recovery Systems, Inc. (Pink Sheets:BRSI) announced today
that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Advanced Tactical Fabrication
(ATF), was chosen by 3M Corporation to supply over 1,500 vests
specifically designed for 3M�s Powered Air-Purifying Respirator (or
PAPR) product for one of its key customers. 3M indicated that the
overall PAPR program has the potential for sizeable growth and �is
very satisfied with the BRS design and construction of this
important component of our PAPR product,� according to Jean
Koecher, Segment Marketer in 3M�s Occupational Health &
Environmental Safety Division, which is responsible for this
product line. BRS is working closely with 3M to ensure the product
conforms to the exacting high quality standards associated with 3M
products. �Being able to partner with 3M on this important
contract, with the potential for substantial follow-on work, allows
BRS to achieve yet more of its strategic goals�diversification of
safety products and alignment with world-class corporations,� said

ATF programs,� Williams added. BRS and 3M recently signed a Master
Supply Agreement formalizing a three-year supplier relationship

parachute systems for general aviation and recreational aircraft.
