Union Pacific Raises Quarterly Dividend by 10.2% to 97 Cents

Union Pacific Corp. (UNP) on Thursday said board raised the
quarterly dividend by 10.2% to 97 cents from 88 cents.
The new payout, equal to $3.88 a year, represents an annual
yield of about 2.24% based on Thursday's closing price of $173.21,
up from about 2.03%.
The Omaha, Neb., freight railroad said the increased dividend is
payable Sept. 30 to shareholders of record Aug. 30.
