David J. Witzgall Named Vice President of American Financial Group CINCINNATI, May 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Financial Group, Inc. (NYSE:AFG) Nasdaq announced that David J. Witzgall has been named Vice President and Treasurer of the Company. Mr. Witzgall joined American Financial in 1976 and held a number of accounting and finance positions until he left to become Vice President and Controller of publicly-held General Cable Corporation in 1993. He re-joined the Company in 2001, becoming the Vice President and Controller of Great American Insurance Company.
