(1)	Ms. Lin is voluntarily reporting the acquisition of shares of common stock under the Brighthouse Financial, Inc. Employee Stock Purchase Plan ("ESPP"), in which Ms. Lin participated prior to her appointment as Executive Vice President and General Counsel on December 12, 2022.
