CAMBIUM GLOBAL TIMBERLAND LTD. (TREE.LN), a forestry investment
group, said it has appointed Antony Royston Gardner-Hillman
chairman of the board with immediate effect, replacing Donald
Adamson who has retired.
At 1610 GMT, shares down 2.3 pence, or 13%, at 14.8 pence.
CHIME COMMUNICATIONS PLC (CHW.LN), the communications group,
said it has agreed a 374 million pound ($581.67 million) offer from
a consortium that includes Martin Sorrell's WPP PLC (WPP.LN).
Shares +15.8 pence, or 4.6%, at 361 pence.
BMR MINING PLC (BMR.LN) reports significant progress on its
testing results, which it says could significantly enhance the
inherent value of the company's commercial interests going
forward.
Shares +0.3 pence, or 6.9%, at 3.9 pence.
INDEPENDENT OIL & GAS PLC (IOG.LN) reported a delay in
completion of a 7.1 million pounds share subscription pact with a
international listed group.
Shares -2.3 pence, or 13%, at 14.5 pence.
THOR MINING PLC (THR.LN), an Australian tungsten and gold
explorer and developer, said the Molyhil project is scheduled to
start production during 2016, subject to securing finance.
Shares +13% at 0.1 pence.
WILDHORSE ENERGY LTD. (WHE.AU), a mineral exploration company,
said that it now believes that the Lake Wells project located in
western Australia has the potential to generate substantial volumes
of highly enriched brine to supply a solar evaporation facility and
processing plant to produce sulphate of potash, sulphate of potash
magnesia and other by-products.
Shares +0.5 pence, or 7.4%, at 7.3 pence.
OXFORD PHARMASCIENCE GROUP PLC (OXP.LN), a drug company, reports
encouraging results from a pilot clinical study of OXPzero Naproxen
to determine the extent of upper gastrointestinal tract
irritation.
Shares -1.5 pence, or 17%, at 7.5 pence.
