Itaconix (AIM: ITX) (OTCQB: ITXXF), a leading innovator in sustainable plant-based polymers used to decarbonise everyday consumer products , announces that John R. Shaw, Chief Executive Officer of the Company, purchased 2,000 ordinary shares in the Company on 19 October 2023 at a price of $1.605 per ordinary share.

Following this purchase, John R. Shaw holds 1,080,441 ordinary shares in the Company, representing approximately 8.0% per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.
