Notification of Transactions by Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities (PDMRs)

Pursuant to the notification obligations under Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1.4R, and further to the announcements made on 22 and 28 September 2015 and 2 October 2015, the Company hereby announces that as part of the ongoing internal re-organisation of Mehmet Sepil's indirectly held interests, through Elysion Energy Holding B.V. ('Elysion'), 554,031 voting ordinary shares in Genel Energy plc have been sold on 2 October 2015 for an average price of GBP2.769538.

Accordingly, Mehmet Sepil's total holding immediately following this notification is 28,358,486 (11.40%) voting ordinary shares and 1,100,515 (3.72%) suspended voting ordinary shares.
