Results of General Meeting

The Directors of Syndicate Asset Management Plc (AIM: SAM), the fund management group, are pleased to announce that at the General Meeting ("GM") held earlier today at the offices of Memery Crystal LLP, 44 Southampton Buildings, London WC2A 1AP, the Special Resolution to change the Company's name to Ashcourt Rowan Plc was duly passed by Shareholders.

It is anticipated the name change will formally come into effect on 27 May 2011, the Company's ticker symbol changing shortly thereafter. An update announcement will be issued in due course.
