  Prometheus Strengthens Management Team by Appointing Earl Franklin as Chief
                           Operating Officer ("COO")


March 27, 2007

Prometheus Energy Company ("Prometheus"), an alternative and renewable energy
company, is delighted to announce it has appointed Earl Franklin as Chief
Operating Officer, with immediate effect.  Mr Franklin will report to Chief
Executive Officer Kirt Montague and attend Board meetings with the intention
that he will join the Board in due course.


Mr Franklin was most recently an Executive Director at E3 Consulting with over
30 years of experience developing, managing, operating and advising energy
companies around the world. Earl served as the Executive Vice President of
Operations at U.S. Generating Company as well as the President and CEO of U.S.
Operating Services Company. He earned his Master of Business Administration from
the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and holds a Bachelor of
Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech.


Kirt Montague, Prometheus' Chief Executive Officer, said: "As we review the
available business opportunities, it is becoming increasingly important to
develop the depth of managerial capability to ensure we selectively pursue and
flawlessly execute the best of these prospects. Earl has a long and proven
history and we are delighted that he is joining Prometheus at such an exciting
time."
