Apax Partner and Co have sold their entire shareholding in Computacenter plc
with effect from 14th January 1999.  Apax Partner and Co are represented on our
board by Mr Paul Adrian Barlow Beecroft and the shares were held in venture
capital funds.  The details are as follows:-

1)  Apax ventures III sale of 4,425,943 shares

2)  Apax CSG Holdings Limited sale of 9,592,994

3)  Apax currently continues to hold 2,401,361 shares which are effectively
beneficially owned by Chase Capital and will shortly be transferred into Chase
Capitals' name.

Paul Adrian Beecroft has not sold any of his personal shareholding.
