Letter to Company Announcements Office

We write to notify the exchange of the following transaction involving Mr Philip
Hulme's shareholdings, of which we received notification on 19th November 1999.

The Hadley Trust, a registered charity, sold 1,000,000 shares in Computercenter
PLC on Friday 19th November.  Philip Hulme, Chairman of Computercenter plc, is a
trustee of the Hadley Trust, but not a beneficiary.  The purpose of the sale was
to diversify the Charity's assets.  Mr Hulme's personal beneficial holdings
remain unchanged.
