DIRECTORATE CHANGE

The Directors of Ashcourt Rowan (AIM: ARP), the wealth management group, notify shareholders that Peter Dew has as of 31 July 2011 resigned as Chairman of the Company and likewise stepped down from its Board of Directors. Kenneth "Buzz" West, a current independent director of the Company, has been appointed Chairman on an interim basis.

Interim Chairman, Buzz West, commented:

"Peter has tirelessly served the best interests of the Company over the last 5 years and has helped guide the Company towards its successful new strategic focus.

"Our core wealth management Ashcourt Rowan service is now making excellent progress in the market and we have an exceptionally strong operational team well represented on the Board. We now look forward to building out further the Board so that the Group's long term strategic goals can be best delivered and the momentum within the Ashcourt Rowan brand best leveraged.
