Cannabis-Rx Appoints Munjit S. Johal Treasurer & Chief Financial Officer

Cannabis-Rx (OTCQB:CANA), a company focused on funding the
growth of the cannabis industry in states where it is licensed or
permitted for medicinal and/or recreational purposes, today
announced the appointment of Munjit S. Johal as Treasurer and Chief
Financial Officer. Mr. Johal will play an integral role in
advancing the Company’s long-term growth strategy and overseeing
its capital structure and regulatory requirements.

finance and management in the private and public sector, Munjit
brings a wealth of knowledge that will benefit our organization and

caliber to our team and will leverage his diverse background in
underwriting, asset management and disposition to effectively build
our real estate portfolio.”
As a seasoned corporate executive, Mr. Johal began his career in
1981 serving as Senior Analytical Manager for the Office of Thrift
Supervision (OTS), a federal agency under the Department of the
Treasury (formerly Federal Home Loan Bank Board, the 11th
District). During his tenure at the OTS, which lasted until 1987,
he oversaw a staff responsible for, among other things, monitoring
banking activities and enforcement actions for lending institutions
and holding companies valued at $500 million or less. Since 1990,
Mr. Johal has served as a financial officer of various companies
including Pacific Heritage Bank as Executive Vice President. While
in banking, Mr. Johal worked extensively with delinquent and
problems loans as well as with the portfolio of real estate
owned.
Mr. Johal served as Chief Financial Officer of Secured
Diversified Investment, Ltd from 2002 to January 2009 and Davi
Skin, Inc. from March 2007 to May 2010. Since October 20, 2006, Mr.
Johal has been the Chief Financial Officer of SearchCore (formerly
General Cannabis, Inc.). Additionally, Mr. Johal serves as
Controller of High Tower Capital, Inc., a position he has held
since 2007. He has a Masters of Business Administration from the
University of San Francisco, and a Bachelor of Arts from the
University of California Los Angeles.
