Samoth Oilfield Inc. Appoints Manu Sekhri to the Board of Directors

Samoth Oilfield Inc. ("Samoth" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:SCD) is pleased to
announce the appointment of Mr. Manu Sekhri as director of the Company. Mr.
Sekhri replaces Fredy Ramsoondar effective immediately. Samoth would like to
thank Mr. Ramsoodar for his time and efforts over the past few years.
