PROFILE


Over 20 years' investment and international banking experience in Asia and 
Western Europe.

After 10 years with the Lloyds Bank group, culminating in the position of
Director responsible for new investment management business in Asia (ex-Japan),
established a new, independent, regulated fund management company as CEO and
lead shareholder. Raised US$55 million of capital for the first specialist
private equity fund for Vietnam from European institutional investors. Invested
in start-ups and unquoted companies in a variety of industries, and then managed
and realised the investments.


Particular focus in recent years on developing and implementing investment and
realisation strategies, both at an investee company and at a fund level,
including problem-solving, turnarounds and exits from underperforming companies
and institutional funds.


Currently, manage two private equity funds in Vietnam, both of which are in
realisation mode; chair the manager and investment committee of a new private
equity fund in the Mekong region for the Asian Development Bank and a number of
bilateral development agencies; and a board member of a listed Thai fund
invested in both quoted and unquoted equities.
