Datastream Customers Kick Off 2005 Worldwide User Conference with
Record Attendance More than 500 Customers Explore Best Practices in

today announced that it has opened its 2005 Worldwide User
Conference at the Hyatt Regency in Greenville, S.C. Over five days,
Datastream will host 500 customers from 13 countries and 50 states,
representing industry segments ranging from manufacturing and life
sciences to facilities management and the public sector. The
conference's sponsoring exhibitors include Fastenal Company,
Heritage Interactive, Kaman Industrial Technologies, MSC Industrial
Supply Co., Newark InOne and Office Depot. Keynote speakers at the
conference include Datastream CEO Larry Blackwell; Datastream
President and CFO Alex Estevez; Senior Vice President and General
Manager Dave Patterson of Siemens Maintenance Services; and NASCAR
racing champion Kyle Petty. Blackwell and Estevez will provide
opening remarks today; Patterson will discuss Asset Performance
Management tomorrow. Petty joins Datastream on Wednesday, May 4 to
share how effective use of testing and analytics has enabled his
family to dominate NASCAR racing across three generations. "We are
