Dell remains committed to commercial channel partners worldwide and announced further enhancements to its PartnerDirect program to media and analysts earlier today.

Dell continues to strengthen its PartnerDirect program with an enhanced global Networking & Security Certification that combines the best of the Dell and Force10 programs, and a new U.S. Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Partner Solution through which qualifying partners will receive exclusive EMR deal registration, Dell EMR Solution Partner branding and access to the Dell Solution Center.

“Today, customers are looking beyond the box. They don’t just want a new laptop or server, they want a trusted, reliable technology partner to help them solve real-time business problems and take on new growth opportunities. Dell understands this. That’s why we remain dedicated to building a world-class channel program and investing in solutions that meet the dynamic needs of our customers,” said Greg Davis, vice president and general manager of Global Commercial Channels.

Dell, together with partners, is delivering end-to-end IT solutions that meet the needs and challenges of today’s businesses. Approximately 100,000 Value Added Resellers (VARs), Systems Integrators, IT Resellers and Solutions Providers are now a part of Dell’s global PartnerDirect program, which had a record number of 58,000 deal registrations in the recently completed third fiscal quarter. Revenue from the PartnerDirect program was more than 30 percent of Dell’s global commercial revenue for the same quarter.

Davis also highlighted how recent acquisitions have augmented the company’s ability to provide complete solutions to VARs and customers globally. For example, Force10 networking products are now available to all qualified channel partners, and Dell plans to launch Dell KACE products in five new languages this year.

These programs and others expand channel partners’ ability to deliver value to customers and reward their investment in Dell solutions. It also underscores Dell’s commitment to a simple, streamlined, world-class channel program for partners based on their feedback.

Dell has continued to improve its PartnerDirect program based on feedback from its partners. The company has received a number of recognitions recently for its channel efforts, including being named one of the Best Companies to Partner With by CRN. The first annual “Best Companies to Partner With” research was unveiled at UBM Channel’s COMDEXvirtual event.

Quotes:
