Aspyra, Inc. (AMEX:APY) announced today that the Company has entered into an agreement with Physicians Laboratory Services, Inc. (PLS), an independent clinical reference laboratory in Omaha, Nebraska to upgrade the laboratory�s existing LIS to the most current release of Aspyra�s CyberLAB� Laboratory Information System (LIS) solution, version 7.2, as well as implement the Company�s WebGateway� and CyberPATH� Anatomic Pathology modules. PLS has been an Aspyra LIS customer since 1985. The laboratory currently serves 19 hospitals in eastern Nebraska and western Iowa, with over 500 doctor�s offices in the same service area. Ruth Ann Bartels, MT(ASCP), Director of Professional Services for PLS, stated, �As more medical facilities adopt Electronic Medical Records (EMR), it is important to be able to meet the needs of our clients.
