                              PDMR's Shareholding



Mr P A Hodgson, a PDMR and an Associate Director of the Company has notified the
Company that he has exercised share options over 11,886 Ordinary shares of 5p in
the Company on 1 September 2006 at an option price of 376.5p. The option was
granted on 27 June 2003 and has been exercisable since 26 June 2006, the
performance criteria attached to the grant having been met in full. Mr P A
Hodgson subsequently sold 8,540 shares at 707p on 1 September 2006.



Following the exercise of share options and sale, Mr Hodgson now holds 7,112
Ordinary shares of 5p in the Company, representing 0.01 per cent of the
Company's issued ordinary share capital.



Mr Hodgson's other interests in the shares of the Company are unchanged.
