                   Issue of warrants and holdings in company

Issue of warrants

Trochus plc (the "Company") has issued 30,400 warrants, to acquire ordinary
shares in of 10p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at an exercise price of
33p each to Mark Horrocks and a further 12,900 warrants on the same terms to
David Gration. These warrants can be exercised in the three year period
commencing on the date of issue. Both Mark Horrocks and David Gration are
directors of the Company. Mark Horrocks now has 30,400 warrants and David
Gration now has 12,900 warrants. The warrant instrument and intention to issue
such warrants was approved at the Company's Extraordinary General Meeting on 18
May 2007. Such warrants have been issued in lieu of the annual salary of each of
Mark Horrocks and David Gration.

Issue of shares

The Company has also issued a total of 33,941 new Ordinary Shares of 10p each to
advisers in lieu of fees and now has 1,691,891 Ordinary Shares in issue. These
shares represent 2.0% of the Company's total voting rights.

An application has been made for the new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to
trading on AIM, which is expected to commence on 11 October, 2007.
