Seafield Resources announces the allotment yesterday of 396,638 ordinary 10p
shares ("the Shares") to "Namulas Pension Trustees Limited, J. S. Raitt, D. R.
Keith, R. C. Witts and H. E. Worboys", being the trustees of the Seafield
Resources PLC Directors Pension Scheme ("the Scheme").  The allotment is
pursuant to a contractual obligation arising from the arrangements made in
connection with the resignation of Mr D. R. Keith, the former Chief Executive
of the Company.  The Shares are to be held by the Scheme for the benefit of Mr
Keith's personal pensions account. 

Mr J. S. Raitt, Mr R. C. Witts and Mrs H. E. Worboys are continuing directors
of the Company. 

Prior to the allotment of these shares, the Scheme did not hold any other
securities of Seafield Resources.
