(the "Company")
Further to announcements made in relation to the appointment of
an Examiner to the Company, McInerney Homes Limited, McInerney
Construction (Holdings) Limited, McInerney Contracting Limited and
McInerney Contracting Dublin Limited, the Company wishes to
announce that it has applied to the Irish Stock Exchange Limited,
the London Stock Exchange plc and the UK Listing Authority to
cancel the dual primary listing of the Company's ordinary shares of
EUR0.025 each on the official list of the Irish Stock Exchange and
the official list of the UK Listing Authority and the trading of
such shares on each of the main markets of the Irish Stock Exchange
Limited, the London Stock Exchange plc.
The Board has concluded that it is no longer in the best
interests of the Company or its shareholders for the Company to
maintain its listings as the Company is no longer in a position to
meet its continuing obligations for listing. The approval of
shareholders will not be sought prior to the cancellation. The
Board has concluded that the continued listing of the shares of the
Company would jeopardise the successful implementation of any
investment or similar arrangement that may be agreed by the
Examiner to ensure the survival of the Company or companies in its
group.
It is expected that cancellation of listing and trading of the
shares of the Company will take effect at 8 am on 19 November
2010.
