London Forfaiting Company PLC has today been advised of the following 
dealings by directors of the Company in Ordinary Shares of 40p each of the 
Company:

(i) Mr Jack Wilson, Chairman of London Forfaiting Company PLC, yesterday 6 
October 1998, purchased 100,000 Ordinary Shares of 40p each at a price of 
65p per share.

(ii) Mr Stathis Papoutes, Chief Executive of London Forfaiting Company PLC, 
yesterday 6 October 1998, purchased 75,000 Ordinary Shares of 40p each at a 
price of 65p per share.

(iii) Mr David Lilley, an executive director, yesterday 6 October 1998, 
purchased 50,000 Ordinary Shares of 40p each at a price of 70p per share.

(iv) Mr Victor Papadopoulos, an executive director, today 7 October 1998, 
purchased 50,000 Ordinary Shares of 40p each at a price of 75p per share.

(v) Mr Michael Davenport, a non-executive director, today 7 October 1998, 
purchased 25,000 Ordinary Shares of 40p each at a price of 72p per share.

Following these transactions the beneficial interests of the directors 
concerned are as follows:

(i) Mr Jack Wilson - 6,528,275 Ordinary Shares of 40p each, representing 
6.23% of the issued ordinary share capital.

(ii) Mr Stathis Papoutes - 6,075,000 Ordinary Shares of 40p each, 
representing 5.80% of the issued ordinary share capital.

(iii) Mr David Lilley - 50,000 Ordinary Shares of 40p each, representing 
0.05% of the issued ordinary share capital.

(iv) Mr Victor Papadopoulos - 450,000 Ordinary Shares of 40p each, 
representing 0.43% of the issued ordinary share capital.

(v) Mr Michael Davenport - 30,045 Ordinary Shares of 40p each, representing 
0.03% of the issued ordinary share capital.
