Granite Creek Cancels Consulting Agreement

Granite Creek Gold Ltd. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:GCX) reports that due to
difficult market conditions both the Company and Douglas McKay and Associates
("DMA") have agreed to cancel the Consulting Agreement entered into on August
30, 2013 (see August 30,2013 press release). The cancelling of the Agreement is
effective January 1, 2014. The Agreement was for DMA to provide general
marketing services to the Company in order to raise the Company's profile.

Granite Creek is a Vancouver based exploration company in the business of
acquiring and carrying out exploration on mineral properties, especially those
with precious metals potential, with the goal of establishing a mineable mineral
resource. Granite Creek's Canadian projects consist of the

it has an option to acquire a 70% interest; the 100% owned 654 ha Railway
