Sadly, I was right about this one. Wash, rinse, and repeat. NYMT walked the dividend down after the dreaded reverse split and now both the divi and the PPS are about where they were BEFORE the reverse split.

And to make matters worse, their Investor Relations will not return emails. Another RED FLAG.

Thank you, I saw the divi adjust a day after the reverse split. It’s really going to suck if that goes down. Lot invested here.

The dividend will increase to .40 per share after the 1:4 reverse split. (.10 x 4 = .40)

But don't be surprised if NYMT lowers the dividend after a few quarters. Especially if our economy doesn't get back on track. MFA did that exact thing recently.

If they walk the dividend down to where it was pre-split, it's a win for the company but a huge loss for the shareholders. A wash-rinse-repeat sort of thing.

After 12 years in this stock I had to get out.Sold out and walked away with my original investment only.I dripped averaged down did everything just to stay afloat.The employee incentive program trims a dollar off the share price at the beginning of every year.

This is long term hold. This stock will go up as the commercial real estate market recovers. Also in AHT; they have interest in all of the high end hotels. Only 7 bucks a share, down from $80.
