March will be a good month here.

The merger will be finalized and shares will be swapped. FINS will be out. New contracts will be announced.

So GAME is paying FAZE shareholders

about .14/share. I missed that. The end result will be a stronger company, but we initially lose. I wonder how the merger will affect the price of the FAZEW.

Actually I only grabbed a position, not really knowing how long I would stay in. I like the merger news. I didn't pay close attention to the share conversion initially, but I did not like the idea of receiving .13091 Game Square shares for every FAZE share owned, especially with Game Square trading around $1.50 / $ 1.60 PPS range. Just decided to bail, right or wrong. GLTA

a few days ago. I do not understand the .13091 from Game Square for every FAZE share. The merger has been approved. You do not think that GAME can get back to $7? The analysts predict a .02 loss per share. That is not a big loss.

Trying to understand the effect of this merger. If share holders vote to approve the merger of Faze into Game Square, current FAZE shareholders receive $.13091from Game Square, for every FAZE shares owned, post merger? That doesn't seem favorable to current FAZE shareholders, what am I missing here?

I do not understand your rationale

for .0894/share giveaway when it is trading at .18/share. What "others" were offering $1.04 and .40 per share? You may be 100% correct but I do not understand your statement. I realize that we are in a strong bearish trend. I'm hoping that this is a turnaround story.

If .25 is the base from this point forward, that is OK. Gap filling happens quite often as the price settles after intense buying. We will soon see, over the next 4-8 weeks, if this is a winner going for higher levels, or if this is another long-term play.

They have since been bought by Gamesquare, a company owned in part by the owner of the Dallas Cowboys football team, for $17M. The company lost its way. With the new purchase, it is free and clear of debt and the original Founders are back running the show.

Gaming analytics and esports brand company Gamesquare, which counts Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones as one of its investors, is acquiring the struggling gaming influencer group Faze Clan. The all-stock deal is worth about $17 million, Bloomberg reports, a steep drop-off from Faze’s $725-million valuation at the time of its special purpose acquisition company, SPAC, merger in July of 2022.

Since the SPAC made it publicly traded on the Nasdaq exchange, Faze Clan, like much of the esports industry, has struggled, with the company posting a $28.4-million loss “through the first half of 2023,” according to Bloomberg. Last month, Faze Clan’s troubles reached an inflection point that led to the firing of CEO Lee Trink, who once compared the company to the rise of hip-hop during an interview on The Vergecast.

Now, under the umbrella of Gamesquare, Faze Clan leadership is reverting back to its original founders, including Richard “Faze Banks” Bengtson, who will serve as CEO, Thomas “Faze Temperrr” Oliveira, taking place as president, and Yousef “Faze Apex” Abdelfattah, who takes over as COO. Faze Clan will operate as an independent division of Gamesquare and will be “re-engaging with its core fanbase,” according to the press release.
