                     HONEYSUCKLE GROUP PLC ("Honeysuckle")


The Directors, having noted the increase in the share price today, confirm that
they are currently in preliminary discussions with a private company which may
or may not lead to an offer being made by Honeysuckle for that company, as a
result the company has requested that the shares be temporarily suspended with
immediate effect pending the results of those discussions.

A further announcement will be made in due course.
