This is the reason that the new owners bought bankrupt and idle Mountain Pass Mine. So that if this situation with China happened they could help the United States weather the denial of rare earths and the manufacture of defense grade magnets. Well this is the moment to shine MP -- it is your moment to blaze brightly.

MP Materials says it will accelerate every aspect of rare earth processing and the producing of defense grade magnets and also double efforts on heavy rare earth processing -- and the stock drops from $28+ to $25s. That is crazy. This is great news and the fact that our US government is focusing on them is even better news.

MP and Lynas are the United States hope for rare earths. MP as of April is extracting, refining, processing, and making magnets in the United States.
Lynas hopefully will be processing by 2026.

The western technological/military world now knows how precarious their situation is with China. China controls the rare earths industry.
REFINED rare earths are needed by tech and the military. China refines between 100% and 95% of all rare earths (depending on which rare earth). China conquers the world. (???)
I can't think of another situation like this in modern world history. This might be unique in all of human history. Why has the western world allow this to happen?
MP can at least produce a couple of the rare earths. But only a couple.
The US military is probably going to have to do another Manhattan Project if it doesn't want to be conquered. (Maybe the only other possible comparable situation is when US had the nuclear bomb and no one else did.)

MP is going to the moon in a little while. But TM C is heading there now . All they need is a permit to pick up the nodules and we will be in the money.
MP has minerals they are mining today. In the future when Trump opens federal lands to mine metals and minerals this stock will explode. My game plan is to stay in Tmc and then move to mp .. no need to jump ship now since TMC only needs a permit. They have leases , the ship to mine the nodules, and a prestige place to process the nodules. TMC has 99 percent of what we need already in place. And Trump a working on the permit.

Other US rare earths miners have received $200 million loans from US govt. MP has only received what? $65 million. They could be due for another $140 million loan from US Govt.
